Nice Photos of plants but no link to category edit

I have seen nice photos made by you of plants with a good description of the scientific name of the plant, but without a link to a category. For a few I added a category. In your [gallery] I have seen that there are many photos without a link. The way I did it was copying the scientific name, pasting it in the search field and that gave me the gallery and then the name of the category that is in most cases exactly the scientific name. For example with File:Sonchus-oleraceus-20080403.JPG this works fine. Making a link to a category makes it much easier for others to find your photos. Could you please add categories for the photos that does not have a link yet? Thanks, Wouter (talk) 10:13, 13 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Bursera microphylla edit

Nice picture of Bursera microphylla!!! Do you have any more pictures of the tree? It would be great to have a picture of the tree's resin (same family as frankincense Boswellia sacra, Boswellia serrata) as well.

  • Unfortunately, the hard drive with those pics is down for the count, the camera is lost, and I live in Florida now ... on the plus side, once I get a new camera, Florida's flora is next to go! -- Miwasatoshi (talk) 05:13, 21 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

File:Catharanthus-roseus-20070918.JPG edit

Um grande abraço, Micael 106 (talk) 16:28, 21 March 2011 (UTC).Reply

Hello, you possibly Miwasatoshi described the flower as Catharanthus roseus, perhaps wrongly, because I found another picture and categorized on much the same as Catharanthus ovalis. Please, if you happen to have the name wrong for me to answer that can you tell me what the name of this species. A big hug, Micael 106 (talk) 16:28, 21 March 2011 (UTC).Reply

I just went by the label next to the plant at Arizona State University. -- Miwasatoshi (talk) 00:27, 10 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi Miwasatoshi,

Could you tell me whether the following statement corresponds to your expectations for a publication in my next book in French-speaking countries, or if it lacks an element declaration :

« Photo by Miwasatoshi, Citrus-aurantium-20080320-3.JPG. Source http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Citrus-aurantium-20080320-3.JPG. Reproduced under license cc-by-sa-3.0 Unported - http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/deed.en ».

I thank you in advance, Arevalb. 86.203.238.42 10:37, 7 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
