Photo Navoi edit

Hello ! The picture was taken in a park, maybe the park Navoi... I don't remember exactly. I should see a map of the city. --Paul Munhoven (talk) 07:07, 7 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Autopatrol given edit

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Thank you. INeverCry 20:16, 29 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Uzbek language map edit

Hi. I'd take the information of the map in another wiki map. But of course I will work in the regions you said me in Kirguistan. In the next few hours I'll change it. If you can give me more information, more maps and more information for the changes I would glad you so much.--  Fobos | ¿algo que decirme? 16:56, 30 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your response, Fobos! Unfortunately, I can't seem to be able to find any map that shows where Uzbek is spoken. I've only been able to find data on the number of Uzbek speakers (for example, this one). Although I haven't been able to find a map, I know for sure that Uzbek is spoken in many parts of Kyrgyzstan's Batken, Osh and Jalal-Abad provinces. There are about 900,000 Uzbek speakers in Tajikistan, 800,000 in Kyrgyzstan, 500,000 in Kazakhstan, and 300,000 in Turkmenistan. Therefore, I think for now it'll be OK if you simply expand the green areas a little bit along the Tajik/Uzbek, Kyrgyz/Uzbek, Kazakh/Uzbek, and Turkmen/Uzbek borders. In the meantime, I'll look for more sources/maps. Nataev talk 17:57, 30 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Isfana Airport edit

Hi Nataev, thank you for your photos of Category:Isfana Airport, very nice additions to Commons. I have tweeted your Sky Bishkek photo here. It would be great to have more photos from Isfana Airport. Do you think you could take more of aircraft, buildings, etc at the airport? I don't have an WMF account but you can contact me on project@aviationcommons.org as I would like to tweet more in future too. 101.186.235.100 10:54, 9 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi! Sure, I can do it. Will let you know when I upload new photos. Nataev talk 11:27, 9 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hey there bud. Do you have any more photos of the aircraft? OrbitalEnd48401 (talk) 19:45, 12 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Good day! No, unfortunately I don't. Nataev talk 13:16, 13 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Nataev: No worries bud, well done with those photos amazing piece of history. Unfortunate with the high ground casualties. I thank you a lot for the work you’ve put in. OrbitalEnd48401 (talk) 14:54, 16 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Thank you! By the way, the investigation into the crash (more specifically, who the cargo belonged to) has been reopened. Nataev talk 03:51, 17 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Nataev: Really? I don't understand the article however, then again the accident is still in Preliminary stage, so it could mean a final report? OrbitalEnd48401 (talk) 22:36, 5 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

I don't know the full story, but I think the Kyrgyz authorities are conducting their own investigation into who actually owned the cargo. Some have claimed that it may have belonged to Ex-President Almazbek Atambayev. Nataev talk 04:21, 6 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Question about the difference(s) between "National costumes of Uzbekistan" and "Category:Traditional clothing of Uzbekistan" edit

Dear Nataev, I see you speak Uzbek, I hope you can help me with a question about Uzbekistan. Some months ago I closed the discussion about Category:Traditional clothes by country and made a lot of the required changes, together with Themightyquill. But there is still a question open about the traditional clothing of Uzbekistan, see Commons:Categories for discussion/2021/11/Category:National costumes of Uzbekistan. Could you help me to find the answers to the questions:

  1. What is the difference between Category:National costumes of Uzbekistan and Category:Traditional clothing of Uzbekistan?
  2. Can these two categories be merged?

If you do not know the answer yourself, do you know someone else who might? --JopkeB (talk) 09:53, 21 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi, JopkeB! The two categories should just be merged. The two terms are used interchangeably (both in Russian and Uzbek), but "national" is slightly more common among Russian speakers. Nataev talk 13:50, 21 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your quick answer! I'll make the changes and close the discussion. --JopkeB (talk) 14:16, 21 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Good day! I actually uploaded a dozen or so photos of statues in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan before I found out about this whole FOP thing. They'll all probably have to be deleted eventually. I was hoping we'd make some progess on FOP in Uzbekistan within the framework of the WikiStipendiya project, but our efforts have yet to bear fruit. Nataev talk 14:48, 8 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
