A copyvio edit

Can you actually tell that File:Indraja southIndian Actress.jpg is a copyright violation? The url for the image does not prove it is a copyvio. It most likely is but this page does not help us decide. What is clear is that it has a source and an author, but no permission, so that is why I tagged it as such and not as a speedy because I do not actually know. No doubt it will get deleted soon enough. Ww2censor (talk) 16:57, 19 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Ww2censor: It comes from somewhere like this and the editor has uploaded other copyright violations. --NeilN (talk) 17:03, 19 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
Indeed, you are correct but there is still no actual verification of a copyvio which is why a no-permission tag was better imho. Personally I try not to add a second tag unless the first is completely incorrect, such as finding a source and even then I remove the no-source tag and retag as appropriate. Thanks for the reply. @Ww2censor: Thanks, I will do that in the future. --NeilN (talk) 17:16, 19 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
It's just the way I work but have been doing so for quite a few years years without any problems. Being productive always helps because there are so many image problems to deal with and if you put all your nominations on the watchlist means you will review and changes to see what was done. Good luck Neil. Ww2censor (talk) 17:21, 19 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Mistake/VOA edit

@INeverCry: What post are you referring to? --NeilN (talk) 03:41, 15 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
My mistake. I didn't look closely enough. A VOA account (User:Helperouter112782) created a relatively tame/corny attack page pretending to be you, mentioning Ponyo and someone named Kevin. I'm so used to the all-out attacks of LTAs like Grawp and Wikinger that I missed this one. It was late too. My apologies. INeverCry 05:38, 15 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
