Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Picture of the Year voting round 1 open

Dear Wikimedians,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2012 Picture of the Year competition is now open. We're interested in your opinion as to which images qualify to be the Picture of the Year for 2012. Voting is open to established Wikimedia users who meet the following criteria:

1. Users must have an account, at any Wikimedia project, which was registered before Tue, 01 Jan 2013 00:00:00 +0000 [UTC].
2. This user account must have more than 75 edits on any single Wikimedia project before Tue, 01 Jan 2013 00:00:00 +0000 [UTC]. Please check your account eligibility at the POTY 2012 Contest Eligibility tool.
3. Users must vote with an account meeting the above requirements either on Commons or another SUL-related Wikimedia project (for other Wikimedia projects, the account must be attached to the user's Commons account through SUL).

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. From professional animal and plant shots to breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historically relevant images, images portraying the world's best architecture, maps, emblems, diagrams created with the most modern technology, and impressive human portraits, Commons features pictures of all flavors.

For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topic categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you can vote for as many images as you like. The first round category winners and the top ten overall will then make it to the final. In the final round, when a limited number of images are left, you must decide on the one image that you want to become the Picture of the Year.

کاربر گرامی. ویکی‌مدیا ‌کامانز به منظور میزبانی تصاویر آزاد و تشویق ایجاد محتویات آزادی است که به صورت رایگان در همه‌جا قابل استفاده باشد. اگر الآن در ایران مطرح نیست به این معنی نخواهد بود که هیچ‌گاه نیز مطرح نخواهد بود. کمی حرفه‌ای بیاندیشید و قبل از اینکه هر موضوعی را شخصی بپندارید و شروع به نیت‌یابی کنید کمی با حسن نیت به کار دیگران نگاه کنید. تصاویر سایر اشخاص معروف را ببینید، اکثر آن‌ها تصاویری آزاد است که در همه‌جا و در هر زمانی قابل استفاده است. کاربران برای تهیه آن‌ها زحمت بسیاری کشیده‌اند، حداقل سعی کنید به زحمات آن‌ها احترام بگذارید و خود دوربین خود را بردارید و زحمتی که آن‌ها کشیده‌اند را درک کنید و بعد از آن تصویر تصویرتان را در کنار سایر تصاویر قرار دهید. اینکه کار شخصی دیگر را که دارای حق تکثیر است را در اینجا به نام خودتان بارگذاری کنید و بگویید ایرادی ندارد، هیچ کس حق تکثیر را رعایت نمی‌کند صحیح نیست، اگر کسی با اثر خودتان چنین کرد حداقل با خود چه فکر می‌کردید. اگر امکان تهیه تصویر براتیان مقدور نیست حداقل سعی کنید مجوز را به گونه از طریق ایمیل تهیه و ارسال کنید، خیلی از تصاویر ویکی‌انبار با زحمات بسیار از این طریق برای استفاده در ویکی‌پدیا تایید شده‌اند −ebraminio^talk 12:31, 23 February 2014 (UTC)

دوست عزیز با اینکه به شما این همه توضیح دادم چرا فکر می‌کنید موضوع شخصی در کار هست؟ آیا اگر بگویم این دور به چه کسی رأی داده‌ام مشکلتان برطرف می‌شود؟ چرا ما همیشه به جای آشنا شدن با قوانین درست، بحث منطقی و اصلاح خود همیشه باید درجا زده و با حوشی‌گری مشکلاتمان را حل کنیم؟ بله شاید این امکان وجود ندارد ولی من جای شما بودم حداقل ایمیل زدن به دفتر ایشان را آزمایش می‌کردم که آن هم احتمال کمی دارد ولی ارزش امتحانش را دارد. ولی فکر می‌کنید این تصویر چگونه تهیه شده؟ شما با این اصرارتان به کاربر ویکی‌پدیای که زحمت تصاویر آزاد را می‌کشند می‌گویید ببینید لازم نیست زحمت تصاویر آزاد را بکشید، کافی است یک عکسی را از جایی گیر بیاوریم و بدون و بگوییم برای خودمان است. جای اینها سعی کنید کمی دربارهٔ صحبت‌هایم فکر کنید یا حداقل احتمال تهیه تصویر آزاد را نگیرید. −ebraminio^talk 16:43, 23 February 2014 (UTC)

برای اینکه بحث در یکجا مترکز شود بحث‌ها را منتقل می‌کنم. شما نگفته‌اید خودتان ایجاد کرده‌اید ولی اینکه تحت مجوزی که اینجا نوشته‌اید اینجا آورده‌اید و در منبع نیامده به این معنی است که شما صاحب اثر هستید که آن را مجوز دهی کرده‌اید. پس فردا یک خارجی بیاید ببیند و متوجه شود که CCbySA 1.0 در متن منبع پرونده نیامده و عکس چندین سال است که در ویکی‌پدیا مانده نمی‌گوید این چه کشوری است که کاربران اینترنتش کمترین درکی از کپی‌رایت ندارند آنوقت در پروژه‌های آزاد بین‌المللی آزاد هم مشارکت می‌کنند؟ مثلاً درخواست‌های مکرر وب‌سایت کاخ ریاست جمهوری کرملین را مجاب کرد که در زیر صفحه‌های وب‌گاه اینترنتی ایشان همین مجوز CCby 3.0 را بنویسیند که همهٔ مطالبش برای ویکی‌پدیا، چرا ما نتوانیم چنین کنیم و نشان دهیم که انسان‌های متمدنی هستیم که به حقوق همدیگر از جمله حق تکثیر احترام می‌گذاریم و با درک و آگاهی کامل تصاویری را برای بازنشر و اشتراک‌گذاری آزاد می‌گذاریم؟ به هر حال یک زمانی باید این را به مانند کشورهای دیگر یاد بگیریم یا برای همیشه کشور جهان سومی بمانیم؟ والا من هم در این کشور هستم. حالا تصاویر جایگزین: این و این را ببینید، کاربر Mojtaba Salimi با زحمات فراوان توانسته‌اند مجوز مناسب این تصاویر را تهیه و برای ویکی‌پدیا ارسال کرده‌اند، من نمی‌دانم چگونه این کار را کرده‌اند و واقعاً دمشان گرم زحمتی کشیده‌اند که نشان دهند که در ایران نیز کسانی هستند که قوانین کپی‌رایت را متوجه شوند −ebraminio^talk 22:01, 23 February 2014 (UTC)

Hi! The website linked from the file does not specify that the picture of the President is released under the terms of the CC-BY-SA 1.0 license. If you have won the permission from the President (or whoever else owns copyright to that picture), please forward the proof to the address listed in the template (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org); otherwise, the file will be deleted in seven days from the date of upload, ie. on March 2, 2013.
