Images from Bulgaria

Hello, Peccafly! I saw that you have recently uploaded pictures from website ImagesfromBulgaria.com . I have started sorting out the uploads from there, especially adding the custom license tag Template:ifb-cc-by-2.5 (with two parameters: Author and source URL), and I would like to adopt this approach in your uploads. Please, make sure that you provide the precise URLs, rather than mere links to the home page. I'd also like to ask you to choose the full size versions and if you can afford spending this time: to crop the watermarks in the right bottom corner. Hi, i deleted File:Kragujevac oktobar 1941.jpg because it comes from w:sr:File:Kragujevac oktobar 1941.jpg and is uploaded under a fair-use license there, Commons does not accept fair use. I tagged File:SDKMars.jpg with "no permission" because the description says: PD-author/no rights reserved, but the name of the author is not named, so the licensing is very questionable. --Martin H. Bulgarian categories

And what about this category? Septemvri is a town, Vetren dol is a village. If you wanted to categorize the village, you should make a category Category:Septemvri Municipality, otherwise is a mistake. By the way, I take a good care of the categorization of Bulgarian villages and districts and I plan to span over the towns and municipalities, so you may not bother about this any more. →Spiritia 12:16, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

ISNT YOUR TEMPLATE MESSAGE SORT OF UNKIND WHEN THE PICTURE I ADDED HAS AUTHOR AND SOURCE INFORMATION WITHIN {{Information}} TAG AND YOUR MESSAGE SAYS THERE ARE NOT AUTHOR AND SOURCE INFORMATION FOR THE PICTURE.

THE TEMPLATE MESSAGE SHOULD TELL ME THAT "ADD AUTHOR AND SOURCE INFORMATION WITH SPECIFIED TAGS SUCH AS {{Cc-zero}} OR {{GDFL}} INSTEAD OF TELLING ME THAT THERE ARE NOT INFOS. SHOULDN'T IT ?--Peccafly (talk) 19:58, 4 July 2012 (UTC)

I really didnt get the point of your template message. You meant that I should use {{Own}} ?
