Wiki Loves Monuments CH 2013

Lieber WLM Teilnehmer, liebe WLM Teilnehmerin,

wir freuen uns, Ihnen mitzuteilen, dass sich mindestens eines der von ihnen hochgeladenen Bilder für die engere Auswahl des nationalen oderi internationalen Wettbewerbs qualifiziert hat [1].

Die 10 asugezeichneten Fotografien werden während der Wiki Loves Monuments Zeremonie, am 30.Novemer, bekanntgegeben.

Diese Award Show findet in der Nationalbibliothek (Hallwylstrasse 15, 3003 Bern) statt und dauert von 11:00Uhr bis ca 16:00Uhr. Im Rahmen dieser Veranstaltung erwartet sie ein spannendes Rahmenprogramm: Ein gemeinsames Mittagessen sowie eine geführte Tour durch das eidgenössische Archiv für Denkmalpflege, eine Ausstellung der ausgezeichneten WikiLovesMonuments Bilder - mit ergänzenden Bilder aus der Archivwelt der Nationalbibliothek sowie Workshops bzgl. Ah, Du sprichst deutsch. Ich weiß nicht, in welche Kategorie es gehört, denn aus Deiner Bildbeschreibung ist absolut nicht erkennbar, um welches Haus es sich handelt. Stadt? Straße? Hausnummer?

Hier sehe ich gerade den nächsten Unsinn: File:Fabrikkanal mit Ueberl..JPG. Das hast Du mit Category:Kanal versehen, owohl es als Kulturdenkmal in der Schweiz offensichtlich nichts mit dieser Stadt in Slovenien zu tun hat. Was soll das? Auch hier kann ich Dir keine richtige Kategorie vorschlagen, da Deine Bildbeschreibung in keiner Weise hilfreich ist. -- Ies (talk) 16:24, 25 November 2013 (UTC)

Ponte1112, I'm very sorry about this – this is not how I like to see highly valuable and prolific contributors being treated. There is no need to submit any permission information just because your real name appears in the metadata of the files that you've uploaded. As I've pointed out to Blurred Lines, the metadata contains both your real name and your Commons username, so there is no reason to doubt your authorship claims. Category:Buildings

As you've been previously asked at #Categories and #Categories again, please do not place any files directly into Category:Buildings. This is a top-level category which should not contain any files directly. As it says right at the top of the page in German:

Dies ist eine Hauptkategorie, die häufig überfüllt ist.

Es sollten so viele Bilder und Mediendateien wie möglich in die richtigen Unterkategorien verschoben werden. Es kann notwendig sein, neue Unterkategorien anzulegen. Näheres zur Kategorisierung erfährst du hier.

Furthermore, please avoid placing categories in multiple levels of the same category branch. Category:Cultural properties of national significance in the canton of Zürich is a subcategory of Category:Buildings in the canton of Zürich, which is in turn a subcategory of Category:Buildings (through a few intermediary categories). So apart from the fact that no files should ever be placed directly into Category:Buildings, placing files there when they are already placed in Category:Cultural properties of national significance in the canton of Zürich creates unwanted redundancy. If everybody placed all the files from all the subcategories of Category:Buildings directly into Category:Buildings, as you seem to want to do, it would overflow with hundreds of thousands of files in no particular order.

Please try to use meaningful categories for your new uploads, and please don't undo cleanup efforts like you did here. Thank you, —LX (talk, contribs) 14:06, 9 March 2014 (UTC)

Category:Cultural properties of regional significance in Bauma ZH

Hallo, im o.e. Zusammenhang sollte Dir diese Kategorie als Unterkategorien von Category:Buildings in Bauma ZH und Category:Cultural properties of regional significance in the canton of Zürich hofffentlich alles vereinfachen: Nur diese eine Kategorie und allenfalls zB "Houses in the canton of Zürich" o.ä. ist dann nur noch zu verwenden.

Es liegt an Dir, pro regionalem Kulturgut eine Unterkategorie einzurichten, dann bitte aber darauf achten, dass diese dann auch nur jeweilse eine Unterkategorie von Category:Cultural properties of regional significance in Bauma ist udd ggf die neu geschaffene Kategorie (nicht die einzelnen Bilder !) dann nur um zum zB "Schools in the canton of Zürich" etc ergänzst – einfacher sollte es wirklich nicht sein, mit hoffentlich abschliessenden Grüssen, Roland zh (talk) 12:10, 20 March 2014 (UTC)

Wiki Loves Monuments 2014 - Wiki4Alps edition

WLM CH (Deutsch) Liebe/r Teilnehmer/in des Wettbewerbs Wiki Loves Monuments CH 2013, Die Ausgabe 2014 des Wettbewerbs Wiki Loves Monuments hat Montag 8 September begonnen. Dieses Jahr fokussiert sich der Schweizer Wettbewerb auf die Region der Alpen. Die vergangenen Wettbewerbe haben ermöglicht, dass mehrere tausend Fotos von Schweizer Denkmälern gesammelt werden konnten. Dank euch hat es auf Wikimedia Commons Bilder von zahlreichen Denkmälern. Jedoch haben wir festgestellt, dass die Denkmäler, welche sich in den alpinen Regionen befinden, dabei nur sehr gering vertreten sind. Aus diesem Grund fokussiert sich der diesjährige Wettbewerb spezifisch auf die Alpen, um auch diesen Lebensraum auf Wikimedia Commons besser dokumentiert vorzufinden. Denkt daran: Hochgeladen werden können die Bilder vom 8.September bis und mit dem 8.Oktober 2014. Um am Wettbewerb teilzunehmen, könnt ihr jedoch auch Bilder hochladen, die ihr zu einem beliebigen Zeitpunkt gemacht habt. Die Fotos müssen nicht während der Wettbewerbszeit entstanden sein. Wikimedia CH organisiert mehrere Wikiexpeditions während dieser Wettbewerbs-Zeit, um Fotos von Denkmälern zu machen, die nur sehr spärlich auf Commons dokumentiert sind. If you want to take part in WSC2021, please consult this page. There are different categories that can be used (you might therefore have something already interesting in your archive). Prizes can be allocated for the 1st and 2nd positions in every category.

If you are an expert user, we remind you that the images uploaded within the deadline can be included in any case in their national category even if not uploaded with the main interface by simply adding the national category.

If you take part, please consider improving the description in English of your files, since such description is what the international jury will use to evaluate them at the following step. World finalists will be finalized after March 2022.
