Yes, you should. They had very bad quality and were not suitable for the Commons nor for the other Wikimedia projects. We really don't need pictures on which we can't seen anything. It's why they have been deleted. /odder 11:42, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

PS. You're right, there is no other picture of Fabien Barthez except yours. I'll try to ask for releasing one under a free license.

Bienvenue dans le Projet Blasons ; je vois qu'une fois lancé on ne vous arrête plus et bravo pour vos premiers dessins.

Si cela peut vous aider, je me permets ici quelques conseils ; vous en ferez ce que vous voulez :

• Dans le modèle Blason-fr-en que nous utilisons, le paramètre catCOAof prend par défaut la valeur cities of France. Si vous ne voulez pas utiliser cette catégorie Coats of arms of cities of France, vous pouvez 1- donner une autre valeur à ce paramètre (comme vous l'avez fait pour Canilhac), ou 2- supprimer les catégories par défaut en ajoutant le paramètre |nofr=. Cela éviterait que vos dessins Image:Sanguinez.svg, Image:Baronie_Peyre.svg‎, etc. soient classés dans Coats of arms of cities of France où ils dénotent un peu.
• Sur le blason de Canilhac, la patte avant droite du lévrier est trempée dans la peinture rouge alors qu'elle devrait probablement être blanche comme les autres.
• Sur ce même dessin, les compons de la bordure semblent déborder de l'écu à droite et ne pas en atteindre le bord à gauche. Vous pouvez éviter ces imperfections avec Inkscape en utilisant la fonction Chemins > Intersection entre votre bordure et un compon qui déborde vers l'intérieur et l'extérieur.

Salut ! A mon tour, je te félicite pour ta contribution au projet héraldique ! Je me suis permis une petite modification sur Image:Blason ville-fr-Saint-Georges-de-Levejac.svg. Je me le suis permis car l'erreur était de ma faute : je n'avais pas précisé que sur l'image du dragon que j'avais chargée, la queue était nouée. Je répare l'erreur : maintenant, deux images sont disponibles ( et . Et St-Georges-de-Levejac retrouve un dragon normal.

Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
