Hello Selkki

I think I have done what you intended when you asked on "Help". I have tagged the two images you have uploaded incorrectly with "duplicate", which means that they will get deleted eventually. Before that, I have moved the Bokmal descriptions over to the other file, so these files now have both Bokmal and English descriptions.

I have also added some categories, if you think more are needed, feel free to search them out and add them. Very striking photos by the way - great find.

The information on the page for the photo tells that there are no categories to this picture pr. today.If you have added them, where do I find them?Selkki (talk) 21:51, 15 August 2008 (UTC).

Hello Selkki - the images should now no more show the "categories needed" tag because I removed it after putting in some basic categories see this change as example. The categories are shown at the bottom of the Image:Sjøsamisk_Mann_Finnmark_Norge_Ivar_Samuelsen_1884_av_Bonaparte.jpg images (very, very last line on the normal page, and usually, but not always also the very last lines in the edit view.

Regarding further categoire - I have placed them into some of the most basic ones now. If you have more information, you might add more (for example for the above image, if you KNOW that the man was a fisherman, you might add "Category:Fishermen" to it. Or you could add "Category:1884" as well. These kind of things. Just a little comment - don't put it into categories which don't exist (just search for those that are there by clicking through the categories (they are linked, just try and click at the bottom of the image) and only use the most SPECIFIC categories (i.e. an image should not be in "Category:Sami people" AND in "Category:People of Norway", because the Sami people category is already a subcategory of People of Norway - only the most specific, "deepest" categories apply. Hope that wasn't confusing?

PS: I don't understand Bokmal at all - I was just able to copy it pretty easily to ensure that descriptions in both languages are kept.
