Dysalotosaurus edit

Hello, do you mind if I use your silhouette for reference?OviraptorFan (talk) 11:33, 12 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

silhouette in question
I don't mind at all if you reference it or even use it. The Greg Paul skeletal that was used as a reference is linked in the file description, which should allow you to observe obscured features such as neural spine height, eye size, nostril positioning, etc. Slate Weasel (talk) 11:59, 12 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Alright, thank you! OviraptorFan (talk) 13:42, 12 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Ceratopsids Size Comparison edit

Hello, can you create a diagram comparing sizes of Ceratopsids (Ceratopsidae)? The diagram should put several Ceratopsids side by size. Major taxon that must be included are Triceratops, Styracosaurus, Chasmosaurus, Centrosaurus, Pentaceratops, Pachyrhinosaurus, Eotriceratops, Avaceratops and others you think are appropriate. Thanks. I am rather busy with Limaysaurus, but I'll try to get it done by next week. Thanks for the request, I really should do more Ornithischians. Most of these I planned to make/update sometime anyways. These'll probably be my references: [1], [2], [3]. Would you prefer Chasmosaurus belli or C. ruselli? Slate Weasel (talk) 23:43, 15 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
MathKnight, I have finished the chart! Sorry for the delay. Slate Weasel (talk) 13:48, 26 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, it is great! I suggest coloring the Triceratops in green and the Chasmosaurus in red, and also increase the transparency of the silhouettes (mainly the big four on the left). I also suggest considering more spacing between the dinosaurs. And again, thank you. MathKnight (Talk) 14:38, 26 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
Also note that according to en:Peter Dodson, The Horned Dinosaur, 1996, the largest Triceratops was 7.9 meters long. I also read that MOR 3027 is about 8.5 meters but didn't find reference for that (maybe check https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4104892/ ). Triceratops horridus vs Triceratops prorsus size edit

Hello, can you make a size comparison diagram between Triceratops horridus, Triceratops prorsus and a human? There is this one File:Triceratops scale.png but the silhouette are not good enough, and the data used is probably not from the largest individuals. Thanks, MathKnight (Talk) 18:39, 2 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

I'll try my best to. The neccessary information seems to be rather difficult to find, so I'll do some research on it over the next few days. Thanks for the request, I've got to get back in the habit of making size comparisons, anyways :) Slate Weasel (talk) 19:30, 2 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Autopatrol given edit

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Thank you. ~riley (talk) 05:19, 25 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Dino scale edit

Hello Slate Weasel, I'am not sure where it stands as of 2020, but for some times we used the en:Pioneer plaque human silhouettes for scale. Checking around it seems your silhouette may be more used. There may be some recommendations somewhere, either to follow or to update. If you know such, please tell me as well. Thanks for the Dino silhouettes !! Yug (talk) 10:02, 4 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

I don't think that there's any standard for the human silhouette, it generally varies on a user-to-user basis (for example, see this, this, this, and this). I'm glad you like the silhouettes! Slate Weasel (talk) 12:35, 4 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

I am making a book, can I use your photos in it? edit

I have been editing wikipedia for a long time and I have seen a lot of your art. I want to use some of it in my book, may I? I will give credit where it is due--Bubblesorg (talk) 19:56, 22 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
