File:StChika.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.

The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.)

Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

The file is not a property of Music in Africa. It was uploaded to Music in Africa as a profile picture for the gospel artist. Music In Africa do not own copyright to this image--Sonoafricano (talk) 01:18, 13 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
Music In Africa stated that "Except where otherwise noted, content on Music In Africa is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercialCC BY-NC licence." Files under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercialCC BY-NC licence are free to: Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format. Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material. The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as you follow the license terms. Under the following terms: Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use. NonCommercial — You may not use the material for commercial purposes.
But unfortunately I cannot correctly give credit to Music In Africa (MiA) for this image because further looking into where this image was used, it can be seen to be used on https://www.musicinafrica.net/directory/st-chika. This is clearly a profile of a user and in this case the gospel singer St. Chika. Hence credit is given to St. Chika and not MiA.--Sonoafricano (talk) 02:14, 13 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
