Thanks for uploading File:BSicon tYRDeq.svg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.)

If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there.

Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you.

October 2023 edit

Immediately after logging in to english Wikipedia, thereby creating my account w:User:Spamming doxygen there, I have been blocked for being “vandalism-only”. The following message was left on my talk page on Wikipedia:

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for vandalism. In addition, your ability to edit your talk page has also been revoked.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then submit a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System.  Black Kite (talk) 18:40, 22 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

I reported this unexpected block according to the guide, and got the response that I shall discuss the topic on my talk page which would have had not been blocked. Actually, this is the only non-blocked talk page, not the one on Wikipedia, so I am forced to write here.

I got the following response via UTRS, and I will answer it here to my best knowledge.

Please concisely and clearly describe how your editing merited a block,...
Saving a page triggered these two edit filters: w:Special:AbuseFilter/139 and w:Special:AbuseFilter/1268. This is visible in my filter log. Note that both filters are “private”, so I can not make a clue of this.
...what you would do differently,...
I am willing to learn, and will respect any feedback given to me.
...and what constructive edits you would make.
See also my contribution log. I am interested in BSicons, and I occasionally make other vector drawings. On Wikipedia itself I frequently fix typos and formatting, though without logging in.
In this case, I tried to copy the current version of Template:BS-o to w:Template:BS-o. I have checked both versions for compatibility, and reviewed every (non-archived) use of w:Template:BS-o. It is currently used on less than 10 pages, and none of them would break.
This edit would have been constructive, since it would allow to use Wikipedia’s sandbox to quickly test complex BSicon overlays.
Please read Wikipedia's Guide to appealing blocks for more information.

As you still have access to your talk page, please post your unblock request to your user talk page, omitting any off-Wiki personally identifying information.
done (note that I can not do it on Wikipedia)
If you have not already done so, please place [{{Unblock}}] at the bottom of your talk page.
done.
