UT files edit

I agree on the description for the first file, which i only modified a bit, but i wrote the second file from scratch and just used some pre-existing samples from the original music and from others.

In music there's a lot of stuff which isn't original (see amen break for example) and as far as i remember, people composing using trackers were fine with others using their samples as long as credit was given. The first file can go with no problem as it was little more than a partial rework, but the second is 99% original except for the samples. And it's rare for music which isn't classical to be licensed freely. Texcarson (talk) 08:54, 20 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

File:Aerodynamic_enrichment_nozzle.svg edit

The file was created by myself in Inkscape from "scratch," as it was (not imported from a PDF). As a guide, I used images 26.1.1 (for the labels and general design conventions) and images 26.1.2 (and actual photo of the geometry) from page 34 of chapter 3 of U.S. Department of Energy's Handbook for Notification of Exports to Iraq: Annex 3. Hope that clarifies things. I have added this information to the image description. --Fastfission (talk) 21:16, 11 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your prompt reply. I thought that your work was based on a publication of E. W. Becker, because your illustration is featured in a PowerPoint diaporama describing Becker's jet nozzle application in radioisotope enrichment. The reference is the following: Lev Inzhechik, ISOTOPES: production and some applications, 16 april 2007, Kurchatov Institute (link, slide 23). It's obvious for me now that they used your file. Anyway, it's nice to have provided the source (and notified here that you created it from scratch), as it will prevent any possible suspicion in the future. File:OldTraffordPlan-en.svg edit

Hi Tachymètre, here is a belated "thank you" for converting my plan of Old Trafford to SVG format. I just have one point to make: when the image is viewed in thumbnail format, the shaded area doesn't show up. Is it possible for you to make the shaded area more pronounced? Thanks in advance. PeeJay2K3 (talk) 01:48, 28 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi PeeJay2K3, I've fixed the matter, it should work fine now. Thank you for your alertness. Tachymètre (talk) 16:22, 12 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

File:Bamboo Curtain.svg requires updating edit

Hi Tachymètre,
Thank you for your contributions to Commons. I noticed File:Bamboo Curtain.svg is out of date. Soviet Union was a unified state in 1959 Could you update it? Thanks again. Geographyinitiative (talk) 12:35, 27 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
