If you like making images with letters, let's make them for the Danish Animal Alphabet. We need: a duck (and) with A, a bear with B, a giraffe with G, a koala with K (I like this image, but unfortunately it is not on Wikimedia Commons), a narwhal with N, a worm (orm) with O, a panda with P, a fox (ræv) with R, an owl (ugle) with U, a raccoon (vaskebjørn) with V, and an eel (ål) with Å. What are these overwrites for? edit
Over the last few hours, you have overwritten a bunch of files, in all cases without a useful edit summary, and making no obvious improvement. In some cases (e.g. File:Dormont Lodge - geograph.org.uk - 413204.jpg) you've cropped the image very slightly, in some (e.g. File:A sheepfold and a clump of trees east of the track - geograph.org.uk - 409065.jpg) you've moved it within its frame, in some (e.g. File:Former workhouse and church, Eastry - geograph.org.uk - 407323.jpg) you've enlarged the picture, and in some (e.g. File:The Worlidge, Halse Road - geograph.org.uk - 420419.jpg) you've made no visible change at all. You have continued overwriting files (e.g. File:Three Mills Wall River, near Bisson Road - geograph.org.uk - 445202.jpg) since I asked the question above. Please explain why you are overwriting these files. If you don't adequately explain why these changes are improvements, then they are likely to be reverted under Commons:Overwriting files. --bjh21 (talk) 20:20, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
I have now reverted all of your overwrites of Geograph files. Please note that Commons:Overwriting files says that once someone has objected to your overwriting a file, you should not reinstate your new version under the old filename. --bjh21 (talk) 14:41, 30 August 2021 (UTC)
Animal alphabet? edit
Hi. When uploading new versions of images with letters added, remember the author field is the one people look to for attribution. Something like "Original: [author of the original], retouched by Valeriefarias" would be more appropriate than replacing the author's name with your own IMO.
