We gave our permission to use the Kerckhaert logo on Wikipedia. For the permission, see: http://www.kerckhaert.com/en/permission.aspx

The permission granted on that page is not sufficient for use on the Wikimedia Commons, as it forbids us from modifying the image in any way. Zetawoof (talk) 07:04, 28 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

I was just adding a book to Wikipedia that they didn't have. To obtain a license that means I have to ask Thomas Nelson publishers just to post the picture? Thank you and do you think they would take the time to reply? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Marine4christ88 (talk • contribs)

Yes, not only do you need to ask them for permission, but you would also need to ask them to release the cover under a free license such as Creative Commons — which they're unlikely to offer. You're probably better off uploading the image on the English Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. Zetawoof (talk) 12:55, 9 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
