English: Aureliano Aguiar is a Portuguse sculptor who was born in the city of Coimbra in the Centro region of Portugal. He has had his work exibited throughout Portugal and in other countries including Germany. He is noted for several works of art displayed in public spaces. These works include "Sculpture to Firemen" and "The Cobbler" in the town of Almodóvar, A work called Archangel" in the town of Vila Nova de Milfontes and a sculptor called "Monument to the Tree" in Odemira.
