Edward Mortimer Boyle (1879-1925) was a lieutenant-colonel of the 328th Infantry, 82nd Division. He joined the 82nd Division at Atlanta, Georgia as a captain in 1917. After the Meuse-Argonne Offensive he was promoted to second in command of the regiment. After the war he practiced law in Manhattan.
