English: Knudsen Hall, located at 475 Portola Plaza on the campus of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), is a facility of the Department of Physics and Astronomy which was completed in 1964, and was designed by Neptune & Thomas in the Modernist style. It was named after Vern Oliver Knudsen, who, between 1934 and 1960, was in turn a Professor of Physics, Chairman of the Physics Department, the Dean of Graduate Studies, Vice Chancellor and, finally, Chancellor.
