The Molecule of the Month is a series of short communications about molecules covered by the RCSB Protein Data Bank, written and illustrated by David S. Goodsell (full archive). While their text is not licensed in a way that would allow for reuse on Wikimedia projects, their illustrations are now available under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License, as per their usage policies (WebCite copy). When checked again on October 6, 2016, that license specification was seen to have been updated to CC-BY-4.0.
