English: Pyotr Vasilievich Vasiliev (1899–1975) was a Soviet graphic artist and a painter, a laureate Stalin State Prize (1947), a People's Artist of the RSFSR (1970), the author of numerous works devoted to Vladimir Lenin and Josef Stalin. Many of P. Vasiliev's works are reproduced on stamps of the USSR, Mongolia, North Korea, Czechoslovakia, and other countries.
