The "Lovers of Mevlana" were carrying a 30 foot rose in the parade 2007 Summer Solstice Parade and Pageant, Fremont Fair, Seattle, Washington, reciting Rumi, and whirling like dervishes. I believe this contingent are actual Sufis, rather than just people in parade costumes portraying Sufis, but I'm not absolutely certain (if someone knows for sure, please let me know and/or adjust the captions accordingly). A typical image of them is shown at right. If people think it would be useful to add Category:Sufism to these images, you can either do it yourself or let me know & I'll go through and do it. - Jmabel | talk 21:59, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
