Renaming this category as Tone (ship, 1907)

• Wikimedia's military ship categories are named with the years of their launches, not of commissions. And most of wikipedia articles do the same. The corresponding articles to this ship are: de:Tone (1907), en:Japanese cruiser Tone (1907), no:«Tone» (1907), etc. So I propose to rename this category as Tone (ship, 1907).--トトト (talk) 13:09, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
  • The is a discussion going on at Commons:Categories for discussion/2011/09/Category:Ships by name, so let's wait for the conclusion. I prefer the date of completion, when a ship is handed over to the client. One of the reasons: always official documants available for historians. That local Wikipedias differ in naming from Commons is no problem at all, as Commons has its own system. Otherwise you have to solve differences in naming systems e.g. between the French, German and British Wikipedia. --Stunteltje (talk) 11:30, 26 October 2011 (UTC)
