My edits: [1] on Commons, I'm editor from pl.wiki. I'm working there with templates, running a bot (WarXboT) and writing mostly technical things. In december I've changed all flags used on pl.wiki to SVG format and now my target is to completly change all possible graphics to SVG format (dreams). Now I'm working on commons - I'm drawing SVG versions of Coats of Arms of Polish cities and in the same time I'm unlinking old versions of COAs. I want sysop rights because it will be a little bit faster if I can delete unused graphics of changed COAs.

Comment Please be aware that deletion on Commons is more complicated process then in Polish wiki. You must be sure that image is not used in any project, especially when you replacing it with different one. - I always check it - please ask Ausir/tsca/Radomil/taw - they are making deletions for me. Now I can tell you, that COAs of Polish cities are mostly on pl, de, nl wikis and sometimes en, ru. I have accounts on these wikis (not all) just for unlinking images. Hope my answer is satisfactory :) --WarX 18:59, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

- I have all orginals on my hard disk - I know that it is possible, that those graphics may be needed, so I want not to delete them. There is one reason for my fast action: I think that the project is very very big (more than 640 wikis ?) and lot of users is lazy so if we won't delete unlinked, redundant images in short period they will propagate back into wikis. I have a sample of this - I nearly completely unlinked redundant flags in PNG format using SVG versions, but they are propagating back. And the last thing: lots of this COAs which I work with are simple copied from first page in the network found by google and signed PD-Polishsymbol and personally I do not agree which such politics :P --WarX 08:31, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Reasons given by WarX in support of his candidature are not convincing. His activity on Commons is of a recent date, (Nov. '05), and doesn't seem to differ from the normal user contribution. Everyone would like to work ”a little faster”. Wlos 08:10, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
