Oppose My first impression was an oppose only minutes after the nomination was placed. Too busy, too harsh light, too flashy. Then I thought it might be just sort of an expectation bias on my side, since an image like this is surely unusual among FPC. So I decided to give it a few days, but sorry, I don’t get warm with it. It’s a very fine and cheerful instant without any doubt, and a valuable picture of it, but not that outstanding in terms of composition or photographic skills to be featured. The skin tones are too pale in places (I am perfectly aware that the glaring stage light here is very hard to handle), and the red is completely oversaturated. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a fine image, I just don’t think it’s one of our very finest ones. --Kreuz schnabel 11:07, 8 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
