Oppose Welcome to Featured Picture Candidates! However, this photo is way too small to be featured for this kind of subject. Do a search for featured pictures in Category:Mosques in Iran for some examples of featured pictures on similar motifs. - Oppose This is a beautiful photo, but it is not FP to me. Although it is quite sharp, it is very small for an architectural FP, and the blown-out sky in the corners also makes it less than outstanding. We have some lovely FPs of Iranian mosques - check out the work of Poco a poco and Amirpashaei - and I think this picture would struggle to compete with them.
