- Info Lonely fisherman crossing the Doce River, in Colatina, Espírito Santo, Brazil. Fishing activity on the Doce River has been significantly affected after the 2015 environment disaster, when the failure of a dam released 43.7 million cubic metres of mine tailings into the river, causing a toxic mudflow to pollute its waters; the mudflow consequently reached the Atlantic Ocean 17 days later. This image illustrates all the drama that has occurred since then. Created, uploaded and nominated by ★ -- ★ 03:44, 18 December 2023 (UTC)
- Support You can say "too minimalist composition" but there's a whole aforementioned dramatic context behind the image. -- ★ 03:44, 18 December 2023 (UTC)
- Comment No reason for black and white, imho. --Laitche (talk) 05:58, 18 December 2023 (UTC)
