  • I'm sorry, I don't understand your reasoning at all. Why should the one of the two waters (lake/lagoon to the left and sea to the right) on either side of the sandy beach be up or down? As it is now, the photo is sort of oriented with the north part of the sandy beach at the top, the way most maps are. It's a very distinct part of the park, so it wasn'r hard to find on a satellite image. Location now added. --Cart (talk) 22:57, 9 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Maps are useful representations of reality with graphics and symbols on a flat surface, but photos that should be turned to be vertical are obvious to see. I doubt everyone else will find my reaction at all odd, and I'm surprised you do. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 23:17, 9 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Disregarding the map angle, you write "90 degrees" is that cw or ccw?. Should the lake/lagoon or the sea be at the top of the photo. I think drone photos are mostly aligned in ways that are aesthetically pleasing (mostly from the author's point of view); in a way they free your mind from convectional thinking. Giving the two waters equal importance looks pleasing to me. The photo has an almost abstract color-blocking quality to it. --Cart (talk) 23:32, 9 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • I guess either way might work, though I thought of the sea being on the bottom. I'll live with it longer, but it struck me very strangely, like a movie that's 90 degrees flipped. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:28, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Well, I'm not trying to convince you to support it, just having an impromptu POV composition discussion. ;-) It's a nice photo, but personally, I think it lacks the 'wow' factor and the processing of it could really be better. It is after all a seven y/o drone photo. A lot has happened since then. --Cart (talk) 12:13, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Ultimately, the photo still looks 90 degrees off to me, because it's just really odd to see the waves breaking to the left instead of to the top (or maybe bottom? I'd have to see it). -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 08:53, 12 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  •   Oppose Beside the fact, that there is no short description on this nomination, the description on the file page itself is not enough for me. When I need to guess what is to see where on the pic, it's no FP for me, sorry. --Stepro (talk) 05:42, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
