- Oppose The fence is unnatural and distracting. Sorry --A.Savin 01:41, 11 July 2018 (UTC)

- Oppose I don't think it makes sense to nominate another picture after the very good heron picture which reveals that the bird lives in the zoo. This picture devalues the first one in this way too. The fence disturbs here at most.--Ermell (talk) 12:35, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Ermell: That isn't a zoo love, it's a man-made pond. I'll take a wide angle shot of the area tomorrow evening when I go out for my daily birding session to show you. :) -- Gerifalte Del Sabana 14:22, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
- Don't jump to conclusions too quickly, it's like saying that taking photos of a line of sparrows perched on a wire is taking pictures of sparrows in a power plant. Gerifalte Del Sabana 14:25, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose I agree, that fence is not helping at all. We have great images of birds in a more natural habitat Poco2 17:56, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose Per Poco. So many excellent bird photos on commons, the bar is really high. —Eve Teschlemacher (talk) 03:51, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
- Comment @Poco a poco and Ermell: File:Desa Parkcity @ KL Malaysia.jpg Have a look. -- Gerifalte Del Sabana 23:05, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
- Comment @Ermell: In my defense, you can clearly see that the bird is not tagged, which would further prove that my local park is not a zoo. :P Best wishes and smiles, Gerifalte Del Sabana 23:37, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
- Comment Every picture tells a story and almost always very quickly. In most cases, a necessary explanation thwarts the meaning of photography. --Ermell (talk) 07:32, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
- Well, I don't know. Let's take this case: A woman peacefully crossing a creek? No, she's supposed to find mines. By stepping on them! A story, context, and background definitely not told by the picture as such. --Martin Falbisoner (talk) 11:52, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
- This only confirms that the viewer can be manipulated by the description. There are many possible interpretations of the picture with the wading woman.--Ermell (talk) 19:33, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
