Scope Nominated as the most valued image on Commons within the scope:
Jordan river
Used in

Global usage

Reason

Many think if Jesus existed, that he was baptised in this river which is not currently well imaged on Wiki projects.
:*  Comment Thanks for clarifying all the scope things. Because Jordan has no FOP and Israel does, there are no other pictures, and the "israeli river" is "Jordan River". Should this be a new category so that when FOP for Palestine/West Bank/Israel develops more consensus hopefully more pictures will organically come? E.3 (Talk to Dr Peter James Chisholm).   CommentMy mistake theres lots of other images. Is there a scope though and should one be created? E.3 (Talk to Dr Peter James Chisholm). Suggestor of the project Wikiwide on MetaWiki [2]. Suggestor of avoiding particular English words in the Commons 11:56, 29 December 2018 (UTC) -- E.3 (talk)

  •   Oppose - Good idea, but: (a) Baptism is much too broad a scope for this picture, nor is this picture in any way an ideally clear image of baptism; (b) the scope isn't linked to any Commons category; (c) the "Israeli river" is not named. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 11:24, 28 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  •   Comment - My answer regarding scope is to use as specific a scope as you need, though not more specific. What is the thing you want to illustrate? Once you've determined that, make sure this photo is the best in scope and link your scope to a Commons category, the way you can see it is done if you go into edit mode in any other nomination on this page. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 22:06, 29 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  •   Comment I cant work out this scope thing at the moment, I withdraw the nomination for the time being. Theres many images of the Jordan River, some say theyre of the baptismal site, but this is where I went to I have to readup on it and work out whether there should be a scope gallery. Thanks very much! Just happy its being used on French wiki for Jesus Christ with no controversy there. --E.3 (Talk to Dr Peter James Chisholm). I sometimes don't understand rules, and I think abstractly. [3] 15:18, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
