- Comment This not a Pieta, Archaeodontosaurus. Charlesjsharp (talk) 12:03, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- @Charlesjsharp: I believed it too, but it's not the title of the Museum: here is the link https://www.archiviodellacomunicazione.it/sicap/OpereArte/2570/?WEB=MuseiVE. The photo of the cartel next to the painting on site also gives this title of Pietà. --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 13:08, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This museum unfortunately has very low professional standards. We should not endorse such a blatant error. 13:17, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
- No, the museum has nothing to do with it. You have to read the articlePietà (arte) on Wikipedia Italy. We learn that this term can be used outside of the representation of the virgin. --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 16:33, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- Support Thanks; we learn something every day. Sorry for doubting you. Charlesjsharp (talk) 09:59, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- Your remarks are never useless and in this case I too was surprised. Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 10:26, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
