Comment A Wikipedian does not have to be above these considerations. We are human. A post promoting the (former) Defence Minister of a breakaway Republic in time of war could be well-intentioned or could be propaganda. Even the use of the name Donetsk People's Republic should be avoided as it is provocative. DPR is not recognized by Ukraine. Should Wikipedia ignore this and take sides? I don't think so. You may all disagree, which is your choice, but my views are surely not ridiculous. DPR forces are currently fighting Ukraine backed by Russian weapons. Comment Sorry, your views on this are absurd. This is a war that is in the news. Helping people research the figures involved in the conflict is not taking sides, other than the side of information. If we went by your standards, there would be so many subjects that would never be acknowledged. Sure, let's ignore all the bad guys, painful events and ugliness in the world, right?
