Couldn't find another image of an african pengiun, which is not a chick any more, but still missing the distinctive white "goggles" of an adult specimen. --MB-one (talk) 17:06, 5 August 2018 (UTC) -- MB-one (talk)[reply]
Comment The image is beautiful but for VI a tighter crop would be desirable. The scope is not good. You must refer to the scope on the category that contains the image not on a category parent. You must imperatively give the binominal in italic followed by the vernacular name between parentheses. For animals the term term is juvenile and non-adolescent. That said, the image is very interesting. The scope could be:{{c|Spheniscus demersus (juvenile) |''Spheniscus demersus'' (african penguin)}} (juvenile)--Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 05:19, 6 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Archaeodontosaurus: Thanks for the comment. As I put in my nomination reason, the scope is more specific than juvenile. We have plenty of good images of african penguin chicks, which can illustrate the juvenile state as good as this one, if not even better. I'm not a biologist, so I am not sure about the appropriate wording and open for suggestions here. However having two sets of parenthesis following each other seems wrong and improper English. How does “Portrait of a juvenile/adolescent/whatever Spheniscus demersus (african penguin)” sound to you? --MB-one (talk) 12:50, 6 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Comment Image is good, but scope should be Spheniscus demersus (African penguin) juvenile We don't need the word portrait and the also the image should be more tightly cropped to be useful as VI

Comment Scope all perfect now, thanks. It takes a some practice! - just needs a crop please otherwise you can't see much at thumbnail size. Charles (talk) 23:32, 7 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
