  • The subject is special. This stage well represented in south-west France shows the last Neanderthal lithic production. The value of the object is shown twice because it is also a historical piece. This is one of the first artifacts of Homo genus that is found associated with bones of extinct animals, certifying an indirect way to the existence of fossil man in 1851.
