Comment Beautiful and interesting image that I imagine is hard to capture, and Wikipedia has a deficit of images of animals in action. I am very inclined to support but am not expert in biology. I could only find this lizzard eating a moth. Should this be in Category:Animals hunting, and can we say with certainty that the lizard wanted to eat that butterfly? Is definitely starring at it, but am not lizard psychologist. As an eye witness to the action you may be able to add relevant info to the image description. Was the lizard climbing after the butterfly was already there? Did it make an attempt to catch? --ELEKHHT04:12, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Comment Local naturalists have observed this behaviour before. I would not not make my statement without some authority. Adults also climb up bushes, but have to limit their choice to ones with sturdier branches. Naturally they hunt for any insect, not just a butterfly.
