Info The lion of the British Empire, allegoric statue in front of the old City Hall City Council in London (near Westminster bridge). --Eusebius (talk) 06:39, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose I am a little confused here. Are you sure you do not mean London County Hall as this is what you geocode seems to indicate. Secondly, I fail to see what makes the lions on this building of particular relevance for Wikimedia projects. Are there not such lions shown in a great many places. What makes these so special? -- Slaunger (talk) 22:41, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for correcting me. Actually I had "City Council" in mind, but it became "City Hall"... About the relevance, well, you might be right. I didn't mean the scope to encircle any lion statue, just this one. And maybe it's not worth a VI.

Do you really think it could be representative of any allegoric lion representation of the British Empire? I'm not sure about it. The British are quite proud and there must be maaany of them ;-) --Eusebius (talk) 07:13, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I agree. As a narrow-scope fighter, I must then remain consistent with myself and withdraw. I think the idea of a VI about the allegoric lion is nice, but there is much work to do (categorization and search) before I can propose one (and probably not this one). --Eusebius (talk) 07:23, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
