OpposeMusée d'Orsay should be left in French. I am uncomfortable with the fact of having both an "inside" and an "outside" scope for the same building, although I understand that it is of interest in that case. --Eusebius (talk) 08:35, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I know, it's interesting. Still, I prefer the other one, because it shows the ceiling better and is more about the museum than about the building. --Eusebius (talk) 09:59, 23 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Question What did you actually do to it in that retouch? I see the file is now very much increased in size, but it also lookes very strange when seen in full resolution - not that it matters so much for VI, as it is how it looks in review size which matters there. The {{Retouched}} template is a good way to describe how a photo has been digitally altered, and I recommend you to use it.-- Slaunger (talk) 23:54, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Comment Ahh, I see. the original is indeed quite noisy when seen in full resolution, but the Noise reduction process which has been pplied is (sorry to say) done quite horribly and too agressively. Look at the persons on the florr. People wearing clothes and sculptures which has low contrast as compared to the floor is completely smeared out. I actually prefer the original when seen in downsampled review size as here some of the noise has gone due to the downsampling and the contours are more true. -- Slaunger (talk) 11:47, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
