Oppose: @Medium69: The scope is too narrow, this image is not a significant part of the either the interior or the exterior of the church concerned. An appropriate scope would be "Statue of Saint Roch" or maybe "Statue of Saint Roch by Alessandro Vittoria". There is however a competitor VI taken by the same photographer two days earlier. In my view, there is only room for one such image as a VI, not two that are so similar. I suggest that there be a MVR run-off between the two. Martinvl (talk) 14:36, 22 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Comment We must look at the images that are offered. You would have seen that these are two statutes on the same subject made at different times for two different churches. Hence the different scopes. It is very boring to see the same sulpteur to have produced such different statues on the same subject. Is not? --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 14:43, 22 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Comment, @Martinvl: they are of two different sculptures, albeit by the same sculptor, so do not compete with each other. Each distinct work of art, particularly by such an esteemed artist as Vittoria, demands a scope of its own. DeFacto (talk) 17:37, 22 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
