Seal of the government-general of Colonial Korea edit

While I know of this European-style seal, was there a Chinese-style seal used by the government-general of Japanese Korea? I am not sure how to look for government decrees with this seal on it used by the colonial regime. --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 13:27, 27 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

@고려: , as you have been able to find many historical seals of Korea, do you by any chance know where to find the seal of Colonial Korea. A similar example for Colonial Taiwan could be found here. --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 11:43, 28 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Donald Trung: The pattern was reproduced and widespread as a badge of the Japanese Government-General of Korea, which is actually stated in the original source, but this pattern is not a badge but a sealing paper. The actual symbol is the 5-7-5 Girimon in the center. This is also shown in the Government-General's official gazette and the Joseon Ordinance. However, it was enacted around 1916 and abolished before 1920.--고려 (talk) 12:55, 28 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

UCLA - Online archive Korean Christianity edit

The University of California at Los Angeles has a whole archive of public domain files related to Christianity in Korea:

Anyone interested can import from this source, as I have already adopted a lot of projects I hope that someone interested might pick this up, or at least list this as at a list of sources to import from.

If people aren't interested this could also be copied to Wikipedia where there are more contributors willing to import from this source. --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 19:42, 8 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
