Confirming the 2014 contest

edit

My understanding from the mailing list is that there is significant support for running the UK contest again this year, and unless anyone shouts I'm going to be working on that basis.

Unfortunately, most of last year's international team have since stepped down, and although there have been some recent expressions of interest it is still unclear whether there will be any international dimension this time. I think we should press ahead of the basis of what we want to do in the UK, keeping the option open of joining in any international contest should that come to pass. If it does not, we should just run this as a UK national contest. In some ways that might actually be easier, as we won't have to fit in with the international rules and working practices, some of which were rather tricky last year to adapt to the UK context. --MichaelMaggs (talk) 14:28, 30 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Template for scheduled ancient monuments

edit

During the build up to last years competition templates were made for listed buildings and similar in each of the four countries. Does anyone know if one has been created for ancient monuments? I would like to start on the lists of these for Somerset but don't want to have to redo it when a template is created which supports submissions/uploads for WLM 2014.Rodw (talk) 15:53, 20 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
