The year 2024 is a leap year, a year where we add February 29th to the calendar. 1908 was a leap year also and might explain the choice of title for this "bouncy" rag or rag intermezzo. That's just speculation on my part, but it does seem plausible. It was one of several rags written by New York composer/musician Edwin F. Kendall, who also wrote a variety of other things and deserves a bit more recognition. This one was published by Jerome H. Remick in New York City in 1908.

I have made changes at measure 30 by adding a flat to the right-hand A and a natural to the last left-hand C, and at measure 38 by adding a flat to the right-hand A.
