Belül: ismertető 'Malom-tó' a Malom-árok felduzzasztásával 1995-ben létrehozott 165 méter hosszú, 16000 nm-es tó, a szintén mestersége Városliget parkban talákható; Töröcskei-tó/Töröcskei-víztározó: : Töröcskei-patak 1970-es években történt felduzzasztásával létrehozott 840 méter hosszú, 16 hektáros horgásztó, amely körül 1981-ben 70 hektáros parkerdőt hoztaklétre. Kapos folyó és mellékvízei: 111km long, Vízgyűjtő 2142 km², 31 patak táplálja. Városon belüli szakasza kilenc km, esés hat méter. Városon belül nyolc vízfolyás torkollik bele. A folyó szabályozása Beszéde József irányításával 1835-ben készült el, végleges rendezése 1954 után történt meg - Somogy megye, Kaposvár, Belváros, Dr. Böszörményi-Nagy Géza utca, a megyi kórház egykori déli tömbje területén
