Magyar: : Szőnyi István Általános Iskola és Alapfokú Művészetoktatási Intézmény. Helyi védelem, azonosító: -6426 Petőfi tér településszerkezet védelme, helyi védelem, azonosító: -6456 Zebegény első iskolájának keletkezési ideje nem ismert. Az1830-as években minden bizonnyal volt római katolikus iskolája az ősi sziklatemplom mellett, majd később a jelenlegi Bartóky utca 1. sz. ház helyén. Feljegyzés tanúskodik arról, hogy Dr. Robitsek Ferenc nagymarosi plébános kezdeményezésével 1895-ben felépült egy "pompás" iskola és tanítói lakás az akkori Ferenc József téren. 1948-49-ben megkezdődött a 8 tantermes általános iskola kiépítése, ami 1955-56-ban fejeződött be. http://www.zebegeny.hu/hu/zebegeny_tortenete - Pest megye, Zebegény, Petőfi tér (ex Ferenc József tér) 2.
