Áron Gábor's Cannon (installed in 2015, replica of a 19th cent. weapon, by bronze caster József Prokk). There is a memorial stone, inscription of its: "At dawn on May 6, 1849 / on the orders of Ban Jelačić, the steamer Hercules / with two towed ships and then a thousand soldiers / prepared to occupy and sack the city. / The commander of the ship, Imperial Captain Geysau / arrived on Sugovica from the direction of St. John's / and immediately began shelling the city. / The multi-ethnic Baja / rose as one man to defend his beloved city: / an 18-pounder chicho? cannon embedded on the riverbank / and two 3-pounder cannons brought the imperial army to a halt. / Heroic National Guards captured the ship, drove the imperial ones away. / The steamship was handed over by the city to the first responsible ministry. / Lajos Kossuth in his letter dated May 12, 1849 / Zsigmond Killinger for the main fire and Sergeant János Szabó / for their heroic deeds were promoted to officers." // - Sugovica Promenade, at Petőfi Bridge, Árpád Square, Baja, Bács-Kiskun County, Hungary.

Gábor Áron-ágyú /helyi cím: Bajai hősök emlékműve/ (Avatás 2015., Prokk József bronzöntő, közreműködő)[1] A közelében lévő emlékkő felirata: "1849. május 6-án hajnalban / Jelačić bán parancsára a Herkules gőzhajó / két vontatott hajóval, majd ezer katonával / a város elfoglalására, megsarcolására készült. / A hajó parancsnoka, Geysau császári százados / Szentjános irányából érkezett a Sugovicára / és tüstént ágyúzni kezdte a várost. / A soknemzetiségű Baja / egy emberként kelt szeretett városa védelmére: / a folyóparton beágyazott 18 fontos csicsó ágyú / és két 3 fontos ágyú megálljt parancsolt a császári seregnek. / Hős nemzetőrök a hajót elfoglalták, a császáriakát elűzték. / A gőzhajót a város az első felelős minisztériumnak átadta. / Kossuth Lajos 1849. május 12-én kelt levelében / Killinger Zsigmond főtűzért és Szabó János őrmestert / hőstettükért tisztté léptette elő." - Bács-Kiskun megye, Baja, Árpád tér, Petőfi híd közelében, a Sugovica sétány.
