Русский: В Донецке прошла церемония прощания с командиром батальона «Сомали» полковником Михаилом Толстых, известным как Гиви, сообщил американский военный корреспондент Рассел Бентли 10 февраля в видеоролике, размещенном на YouTube канале движения «Суть времени».

Десятки тысяч жителей столицы и других городов Республики пришли с цветами, чтобы почтить память легендарного командира. Церемония прощания прошла в здании Донецкого театра оперы и балета. Люди скандировали «спасибо» и "не забудем, не простим".

"Я из Путиловки, которая обстреливается и сейчас. И он нас защищал. Он, Моторола... Поэтому для меня это горе", - завила жительница Донецка, пришедшая на церемонию прощания.

Напомним, после трагической гибели комбата Гиви в Республике был объявлен трехдневный траур. Полковника Михаила Толстых похоронили на кладбище «Донецкое море» в Ленинском районе Донецка рядом с Арсением Павловым («Моторолой»), также погибшим в результате диверсии в октябре 2016 года.
