Description
English: The preface says this book is a translation of a Chinese work (whose name is not mentioned) which deals with the festival of shengri (生日). It appears that only the parts titled ?, qianshoujie (千壽節), and wanshoujie (萬壽節) were translated. From sketchy reading, it is found that half of the book contains a biography of Empress Dowager Cixi, commencing from her earliest days until the day she turned 60 and held the festival of shengri.
