Description
中文：本物件為李登輝造訪馬祖新村社區照，是時任總統李登輝先生參訪馬祖新村的留影，在李登輝身邊的是馬祖新村村長程先生與理事會成員兼婦功隊隊長黃秀恩女士，本照片亦為黃秀恩女士所提供。

馬祖新村社區因為理事會積極的活動建設，幾度被國防部、省政府表揚為模範眷村、模範社區，村子裡經常有省府長官蒞臨參觀的活動與相關儀式。

馬祖新村是1957年(民國46年)起由婦聯會協助第一批眷舍興建，建村之初原有76戶居民，是專為駐守馬祖的第 84 師官兵所建，但因所買土地面積甚大，建村後仍留有大片空地，後來即有第 34 師與第一軍團部等單位陸續在此建設眷戶。
