中文（臺灣）：「北宜公路殉職先靈紀念碑」位於新北市坪林區石嶆里、北宜公路路旁的石牌縣界公園內。在北部濱海公路及雪山隧道尚未開通前，除了火車之外，台9線北宜公路段是往返臺北盆地與蘭陽平原的重要道路。北宜公路自日治時期採取炸山的方式開路，所經之處多是崇山峻嶺，鑿闢艱辛實屬不易，且當時這種危險工作多由臺灣人執行，造成了許多傷亡；光復以降，國民政府繼續整修北宜公路，舖設柏油路面並拓寬為雙線道，但修建過程困難，仍造成不少死傷，1974年當局與明菩山聖道院道德幸福雜誌社諸位善友熱心贊助之下，於台北縣宜蘭縣交界處設立了「北宜公路殉職先靈紀念碑」，以紀念及追悼昔日為開闢這條公路而犧牲的工作人員。2006年雪山隧道通車後，北宜公路逐漸沒落，宜蘭縣政府為了重塑北宜公路往昔驛站人潮聚集之榮景，決定整建石牌縣界公園，也於2007年將此碑重建，並將碑體北移且降低3公尺，希望塑造成為遊客可駐足親近的、追思的、溫馨的紀念公園。
