日本語: 日本電信電話公社・678-PN電話機(プッシュホン式・赤電話)・仕5103号1版・1983年7月 田村電機製作所製造。委託公衆電話として、駅・公共施設・テーマパーク・ショッピングセンター・商店などに設置されていました。678-PN電話機は、赤電話の中では唯一プッシュホン式で、100円硬貨での通話も可能な公衆電話でした。1995年に委託公衆電話がテレホンカード式公衆電話に完全移行するのに伴い、旧式の赤･青･黄の公衆電話はすべて廃止され、この678-PN赤電話機の設置も、それまでに置き換え撤去されました。写真の678-PN 黄色公衆電話機は、中山卓也がコレクションとして保有し撮影しました。
English: Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation, 678-PN Red Payphone. Made by Tamura Electronics Manufacturing Co., Ltd., July 1983. This payphone was a Consignment Payphone, and used to be equipped at many places like stations, shopping malls, amusement parks, stores, etc. In 1995, NTT (Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Co., Ltd. discontinued all the old styles of Payphone colors in Red, Yellow and Blue, and those payphone replaced to Green of Gray Telephone Card payphone. The photograph of 678-P Red Public Payphone owned by Takuya Nakayama for collection and photograph taken and uploaded to Wikipedia for public domain to use.
