Description
中文：武昌首义后，同盟会领导人黄兴、宋教仁、田桐、刘揆一及日人萱野长知等在张竹君等人的帮助下，化装成红十字救护队队员乘船上驶，于10月28日抵达汉口。同时在北京的李书城也匆匆南下经上海乘轮于11月2日到达武汉。于是士气大振，当天晚上黄兴、黎元洪等召开军事会议，推黄兴为中华民国军政府战时司令部司令。

11月3日在阅马广场举行登坛拜将仪式，并组成战时司令部。因此该照片应于1911年11月3日后摄于汉阳西城门外的忠烈祠。
此照为存世的唯一的武昌首义“战时司令部成员”合影照。
据2011年华中师范大学出版社出版的《田桐集》、参考冯天瑜、张笃群着《辛亥武昌首义史》及部分志士后裔指认，初步认定如下：

此照这样安排是符合当时人员委任的，如坐在黄兴左右是总参谋长李书城和总秘书长田桐，兵站司令王安澜也坐在同一排，遗憾的是不见重要人物吴兆麟、将翊武等。
