中文（繁體）：變葉竹學名Bambusa variegata Siebold ex Miquel已被更動為Pleioblastus fortunei (V.Houtte) Nakai/菲白竹，然據台灣溪頭自然教育園區竹類標本園之樣本，變葉竹高達兩、三公尺，與高度最高只有50至80公分的菲白竹（依「植物智」描述 https://www.plantplus.cn/info/Pleioblastus%20fortunei 或是維基百科的描述）並不相同。攝於台灣南投縣溪頭自然教育園區，2022年1月20日。
English: The scientific name of 變葉竹/Bambusa variegata Siebold ex Miquel has been changed to Pleioblastus fortunei (V.Houtte) Nakai/菲白竹. According to the samples from the Bamboo Specimen Garden in Xitou Nature Education Park in Taiwan, the height of Bambusa variegata is two or three meters. It is different from Pleioblastus fortunei, which is only 50 to 80 cm in height (described by "Plant Plus of China" https://www.plantplus.cn/info/Pleioblastus%20fortunei or Wikipedia).
