Garden moths last Sunday! Still a week behind... Mothing again in the garden, I tried 3 times, Sunday, Tuesday and Friday night with mixed results but plenty of new moths for the year and a couple of new records for the garden, namely the Common Lutestring which seemingly isn't that common having not seen one for over 4 years now. The weather has been pretty good this last week but we have had a few cold nights down to 8 degrees which is ridiculous for mid-July! The week ahead looks like we are set for a slight heatwave. Keep those traps out people!
